Sustainability

Bristol Ramblers is commited to making walks as accessible as possible to anyone using public transport.

Many walks are designed with this in mind.

Car sharing is actively encouraged, by a standard passanger contribution rate of 10p/mile (+ shared bridge tolls and carparking). This helps to reduce pressure on small rural car parking spaces and promotes group cooperation and getting to know each other!

On a Sunday:

The meeting points and starting points reflect this as we meet at a central point and then arrange car sharing to the starting point of the walk.

It is also possible to go directly to the starting point but please discuss this with the walk leader beforehand.
